if i were to sell my 3 room flat at Telok Blangah and move to another cheaper 3 room flat elsewhere is it a good idea to dump the excess cash in a condo? if so whats the commission to the agent for the whole transaction

Hi Patrick,

Typically you will have to fulfil a minimum occupation period of 5 years after purchasing a HDB unit before purchasing any private property. Likewise, if you current own any private property and wish to purchase a HDB, you are required to sell off your private property within 6 months of purchasing a HDB unit.

Considering your status, after selling away your Telok Blangah unit, do you have anywhere to put up in?
