I'm above 35 yrs old, and following a divorce, I currently own a fully paid-up 4-room HDB unit solely in my name. My 4-room HDB unit is a first-time purchase > 5yrs ago. I wish to know if I can buy a private condominium unit now, either to live in or to invest/rent. Grateful for any advice pls!

Evening Kimberly,

As long as you have fulfilled the applicable minimum occupation period for your HDB, you are eligible to purchase a private property.

Hope it helps!

Happy 2013!

Evening Kimberley,

Depedning on your completion date, type of mortgage loan and whether you have utilized housing grant, your MOP defer.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
