Good evening,

you will have to clear RES course before attempting RES Exams.

There are various schools that are providing this course and you are eligible to use skills future or UTAP (NTUC member) credits to reduce the course/ exams fee.

Once you clear the exams, you are free to join any real estate agency that you are comfortable with.

I am currently in the largest real estate team (Powerful Negotiators Group) and largest real estate agency (Propnex Realty Pte Ltd).

The general scope of work between agencies or teams are the same, but the approach taken cold be different.

What works for me, may not necessary work for you, and vice versa, therefore it is not easy to determine exactly which team is most suitable to join, otherwise, the associates in the same team will be earning the same as one another.

Yes, you have to pass the RES exam first, and with that RES Pass Certificate in your hand, you are free to join a Real Estate Agency of your choice, and only application via a Real Estate Agency, you will then be issued your CEA Licence to practice! (subjected to CEA approval)

First thing first is to focus on your RES exam, pass it, and then approach a Real Estate Agency you wish to join!
