Yes single SPR can purchase private property or resale EC that has met the MOP of 5 years no issue. You will need to have enough cash and CPF for the downpayment and stamp duties of approximately 28% of purchase price, assuming you qualify for a 75% max home loan.

Hi,

1) A single SPR is only able to buy a private residential property in Singapore and limited to non-landed property.
2) There are no special conditions needed to achieve. The only difference between a citizen and SPR is that SPR has to pay a 5% ABSD (Additional Buyer Stamp Duty) on the 1st residential property in Singapore.
3) Owning overseas property does not affect your eligibility to buy any private property in Singapore.
