Hi,
I am a Singapore PR and would like to buy a condo in Singapore. May I know the stamp duty charges and agent commission that I need to pay? Besides these, any other charges that need to be paid upon purchase?

Hi Ms MC G,

If this is your first property purchase, buyer's stamp duty will be 3% unless it is your second onwards, it will be an additional 3% of the usual 3%.

Normally in private transactions, buyer doesnt have to pay agent commission but of course there are exceptions.

Other costs will be the legal costs (which could be subsidised by the bank)
