I've a problem here.

When I sold my property, my option form states that I sold to a female lady and I recieved the 1% from her.

However when the option is exercised, the 4 % was paid by a Company name.

Is this legal? Or can I pull back from this deal already since it states in the option form that the purchaser (who is female) should pay the 4%.

Hi Raymond,

Your Conveyancing Lawyer should had advised u on this matter.

U cannot back out of the deal as the payment is made and cleared by the bank. Nothing wrong with it.

I had done many deals with overseas buyers using local friends/relatives cheque to make payment for 1% or 4% when their overseas fund does not clear in time or does not carry a local cheque book.

Option to Purchase is the Legal document that determine the identity of the buyer.I believes your buyer has exercised by signing the Option on/before due date.
