Hi Juan,

Unless you sell your 5rm HDB first, wait for the proceeds (cash and CPF refund) to come in first, then use the cash to pay for the 5% deposit for the condo,you will incur minimum cash outlay from your own pocket.

Besides, you still need intermediate housing for the transition period (when you sell off your HDB and wait for the condo).

Or else, you can consider to take a bridging loan from the bank.

Hi Juan,

Firstly you will need to calculation the sales proceed (cash) you will be taking back after selling your flat. This depend on your previous purchase price, CPF usage, interest incurred, etc.

You will need cash upfront for the 1% Deposit, 4% Exercise Fee + Stamp-duty for your condo purchase.
