Unfortunately no, have to apply together as a family nucleus (both names included) for the next HDB application, be it flexi flat or otherwise. This means the current HDB flat has to be sold eventually.

Depending on whether you fulfil the eligibility condition, you may apply for a 2 room flexi.

However, you will not be able to keep both flats a married couple is considered a Single Entity and you are only be able to own one HDB. You will be required to sell the existing flat upon collection of the next flat.

Depending on your main objectives for applying for this new flat, there may be other alternatives to restructuring your portfolio.
