hI .i AM ramesh SINGPORE PR LOOKING FOR BUYING HDB FLAT IN jurong east. I do not have residentsl property in my native country however my wife who is co occuper is haveing residental property in her name and her parents are leaving in that property and we are unable dispose that property. Are we still can buy HDB flat . My wife also singapore PR.

Morning,

As per the current ruling, buyers for HDB unit are not allow to own other property, within or out of Singapore.
Being an occupier, in Singapore context, does not constitute to being an owner, but I'm not sure if this applies to your native country.
It would be good and advisable to double check with HDB to obtain a confirmation.
