Hi,

The resale levy is payable to HDB when you purchase your 2nd subsidized flat. For 4-room, the resale levy is 40k.

Resale levy is payable to HDB when you are purchasing your 2nd subsidised flat and the amount is depending on when the sale was done (before or after March 2006) and you can actually check on the rates at this link from HDB website, https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/buying-a-flat/conditions-after-buying

Hi Sir/Mdm,

The resale levy is payable to HDB and will not be refund back into your CPF account. It will usually be deducted from the sale proceeds after the sale. Resale levy is only applicable when you purchase a new BTO or a new EC. If you were to purchase a resale flat, there is no need to pay any resale levy.
