The structural beam above our sliding glass doors has dropped by 1cm so the doors no longer slide. I asked the agent and owner to fix this 2 years ago to no avail. Now the owner is asking me to pay $150 towards the repair to fix it. Is this legal? My contract says I am to pay $150 'to replace and repair electric bulbs, tubes, furniture and fittings and other items in the Premises which may be broken or damaged'.
