What are the advantages of private condo compared to EC and vice versa?

Hi,
Private condo usually have better finishing and you do not have to wait for 5 years to sell or 10 years for it to privatize. ECs are targeted at the sandwiched class and capital gains will be seen only for long term basis and not on a speculative basis.
