Good morning Sir/ Mdm,

Are you looking to purchase a resale or new condo? Timeline will differ.

Resale:
- agree on a purchase price
- give 1% cash to seller in return for option to purchase (OTP)
- pass 4% cheque to law firm to exercise OTP
- pay stamp duty within 2 weeks from exercise date
- completion date will be 3 months from exercise date. Balance 20% downpayment will be payable and loan will be disbursed.

New unit:
- give 5% cheque to developer in exchange for OTP
- developer will grant you sales and purchase agreement (S&P) within 2 weeks
- you have to exercise S&P within 3 weeks from receipt
- pay stamp duty within 2 weeks from exercise date
- pay balance downpayment up to 20% on the 8th week from OTP date
