Why does the agent always post photos about the lift lobby, playground and supermarket around the vicinity but nothing much about the unit they are selling. Not even the floor plan. How does the potential buyer decide to view the unit if there isn't much to look at?

Hi Kelvin,

Like what Sam has indicated, it is a matter of privacy as some home sellers would not want the potential of any of their friends or family to know that they are selling their property. As to floor plans, it is not so easily available if the sellers themselves do not keep these copies, especially for older projects.

It is a vice versa type of situation, where you make a judgement call to whether call up this listing and arrange for viewing, where you can potentially be wasting your effort or skip it totally. The seller and salesperson in such case are also potentially wasting their efforts and marketing costs in putting up limited information on the property available and wasting their time in arranging and attending to viewing.

But let's put it this way, no one will like to waste their time in carrying out activities that will unlikely yield any results, therefore if you are able to communicate in details your expectations when you call up the listing salesperson, what are the type of layouts you are not considering, you can perhaps filter off the potential of arranging mismatched unit for viewing?
