UK-based residential agent Hamptons International has opened an office in Hong Kong as part of its move to expand into Asia.
Following several successful property exhibitions this year, Hamptons will introduce a range of new UK projects to Asia in the next two months.
Hamptons said the office in Hong Kong will provide its UK and other international developer clients with investment opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as offer pre-qualified residential investment opportunities to Asia-based purchasers.
“With the strength of China and regional South-east Asia driving significant investment in London real estate over the past three years, the majority of London developers are now including Asia as a key part of their sales strategy,” said Matthew Tack, investment director at Hamptons.
Hamptons’ Hong Kong office will be led by Mr. Ginn Lai, a real estate veteran with experience in the hospitality, commercial and residential property sector. He will be supported by Gary Ching, project marketing manager, Richard Teoh, project marketing specialist and sales director, and Serene Low, marketing manager.
