Jelebu Road site up for application

29 Nov 2010

A land parcel at the junction of Jelebu Road and Petir Road is now open for application. The URA released detailed sales conditions for the site last Friday.

The plot was made available for sale on the reserve list under the government’s 2H2010 GLS programme.

The land parcel has a total site area of 18,954.5 sq m and a maximum permissible gross floor area of 56,864 sq m. It is proposed for commercial and residential development and could possibly yield up to 310 housing units.

Located within Bukit Panjang Town Centre, the land parcel is well positioned to be an attractive commercial and residential development, with easy access to Bukit Panjang LRT station and the upcoming Bukit Panjang MRT Station.

Currently, the site is occupied by an existing bus interchange, which will be redeveloped and integrated within the future development.

To provide more commercial facilities within Bukit Panjang Town, 35 percent of the maximum permissible GFA will be set aside for commercial use.

Developers interested in purchasing the site can now apply to URA in order for it to be put up for tender.
