YTL Hotels has opened its Travel Centre in a prime shopping district in Singapore. Situated at Wisma Atria in the heart of Orchard Road, this is the first centre to operate outside Kuala Lumpur, where the hospitality company is based.

Set to be the Centre of Service Excellence of YTL Hotels, the new Travel Centre affirms the company’s recognition of Singapore as a global hub for hospitality services and commitment to the Singapore and Asian markets as major growth drivers for its collection of hotels, resorts and spa retreats.

The YTL Travel Centre is part of an expansion plan in line with the company’s vision to boost its global operations and improve its current collection of hotels and resorts.

“Widely regarded as a travel hub in Asia, Singapore boasts a wide pool of hospitality talents and is the ideal place for YTL Hotels to invest in staff training and enhance our service offerings. We are very excited as the Singapore Travel Centre is poised to be a pilot of YTL Centre of Service Excellence and a model for developing similar centres overseas as we gear up to launch new resorts and expand our operations globally,” said James McBride, president of YTL Hotels.
