Woodgrove Avenue site draws 6 bids

A land parcel at Woodgrove Avenue has attracted six bids in a public tender that closed on September 22, with Tampines Court Ltd offering the highest bid of $105.12 million or $3,582.97 psm per GFA.

The second-highest bid came from EL Development Ltd, offering $100.90 million or $3,439.10 psm per GFA. This was followed by TID Residential Ltd, Bishopsgate Development Ltd, Sim Lian Land Ltd and Ecco Development Ltd, which emerged as the lowest bidder, offering only $73 million for the 99-year leasehold site.

With a total site area of 20,956.30 sq m, HDB said it could potentially yield up to 265 housing units, depending on the type of proposed development. The site has a maximum gross floor area of 29,338.82 sq m with a gross plot ratio of 1.4.

HDB said it will still evaluate the tender bids and announce the final tender results within the next two weeks.

Meanwhile, a 16,668.2 sq m land parcel at Bedok Reservoir Crescent has been awarded to CEL Development Ltd after it offered the highest bid of $112.69 million in a public tender that closed on November 2.

The land site has a maximum GFA of 46,670.96 sq m with a gross plot ratio of 2.8. It is slated for public housing development and could potentially yield up to 430 housing units.
