Poor investment
Even though this project is 999yr, the rental yield for this project is very poor. Would you pay $1.3+million for a unit that can only rent for $3k a month? I think some HDB flats can rent better than a 3 bedder in Hillington green. The poor rental yield suggests this project is overpriced. -

Resort Jewel
Beautiful and resort like. Lots so space unlike new condos nowadays. Very well maintained. When you are in th s compound, you will feel like you are in a world class resort and because the compound is so big, you forget that yon are in Singapore. A few years down, there will be a posh shopping mall and MRT 5 mins walk away. Yon can get your favorite wine and Starbucks, and best meats in town -

Great place!
I'm surprised about the amount of reviews this condo has received compared to others in the area. I am even more surprised when I read some of the negative comments, for many of the negative points raised do simply not hold true, e.g. no balconies (every unit has one!), darkness (all units I have come across are bright). I have purchased a unit here after extensive research and after looking at each of the surrounding properties in great detail and I have not regretted it for a minute! Hillington Green is well maintained, the management is most forthcoming and polite, the landscaping is superb and the most 'tropical' among the Hillview lot with beautiful coconut trees surrounding the pools. The units are elegant with added features that you do not find elsewhere, such as the private lift, open style bathrooms etc. There are plenty of buses just outside the door taking you to places. The area will certainly get a lift once the shopping centre across the road and the nearby MRT are ready. Comments that the place is a 'mini Chinatown' are truly inadequate and ungrounded. The resident mix is mainly local with an increasing caucasian population as well. The only downside I can think is the squeeze when it comes to carpark space. But then, lots of condos have carpark issues... -

A Resort getaway
HG won our hearts over. We looked at most properties around the Hillview and cashew areas before deciding to purchase a unit here. The facilities are comprehensive (gym overlooking cascading waterfall,, quiet room, 4 pools), the lush landscaping, private lift and the beautiful fittings (marble flooring, open style master bathroom)- it is a great investment. Plus, new developments in this area such school, shopping amenities and MRT within walking distances, make HG a true gem. This is the place to look out for in the next 5 years. Perhaps it will become another Holland or Siglap, an exclusive enclave of high quality living. Not to mention the plans upcoming for the railway tracks... Nature trails just at the doorstep. The only drawback wld b the potential congestion. Hope URA will have that solved for future needs of this place. -

Great Getaawy
Great getaway from City work. HG has one of the largest surrounding area amongst condos. Very well maintained and friendly maintenance staff. One lof the best condo in the area -

lousy rental yield and too highly priced
in terms of location and rental yield, this condo is less than ideal. imagine a 3 bedroom at the jade or medeira fetching a higher rental return than hillington and costing $500k less. Traffic congestion in hillview is horrendous during peak hours as well. Hillview condos are overpriced and not worth it. -

No a good choice
I have been looking for a unit for investment but decided don't go for this HG, after view it. Good pts: 1. all units have pool view 2. big floor area 3. private lift 4. future mrt bad pts: 1. pool view but no balcony 2. too expensive comparing to others nearby, rental yield is low 3. bad traffic condition in peak hrs. don't think can be improved even after mrt open cos too many ppl driving around this area. after new school in place, traffic will be worse 4. limited number of buses 5. no amenities nearby 6. feels too much like a mini 'Chinatown' 7. high maintenance cost good for ownstay with car -

Great Place to Enjoy!
Full facilities with polite Management and Security Staff. Friendly environment. No to mention the exclusive private lift link directly to your unit. Live in it, Love it and Enjoy it. -

Loving it!
We looked at most properties around the Hillview area before deciding to purchase a unit at HG. The comprehensive facilities (e.g. 4 stunning pools), the lush landscaping and the beautiful fittings (open style master bathroom) have won us over. We haven't regretted it. It feels like living in a resort and the children too adore living here. -

My HG
I just bought a unit at HG and want to address some concerns raised here. Future MRT near SCB is only a 5 mins slow walk. Not 15 mins as some claimed!! A confirmed shopping mall just across the street should address the amenities issues very soon. Several Nature Reserves and nature trails and the new Rail Corridor as amenities. No nearby school also to be addressed soon...news to be released. Most condos have parking issues, you just need to address it privately if you have more than 2 cars. My unit is bright. Hint: It's all to do with the interior furnishing, not the building. An excellant condo like this deserves a premium. -
