Nature Lover
What i like best about Hillington Green Its beautiful landscape, especially the gardens at night Its many pools, waterfalls, jacuzzi, sauna, wading pool, ponds.... Its potential once the mrt and commercial mall are up. Its interior furnishing... -

CONCERN
I HAVE BEEN STAYING AT MY CURRENT CONDO FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS. THE REASON I WANTED TO SHIFT OUT IS BECAUSE OF CHINA NEIGHBOR. I AGREE WITH SOME REVIEWS HERE. IS A CONCERN. I CAME HERE TO VIEW UNITS OVER WEEKENDS, ALREADY SEEN QUITE A LOT. THE ASKING PRICE IS VERY HIGH. NOT A VERY GOOD LOCATION,THE AREA IS FLOODED WITH CONDOS, NOT EXCLUSIVE. -

Changed alot
Was there recently to view units last time there was Feb 2008 visiting a relative. totally different place looks bad and didnt realise the 'congested' feel towards blocks 40+ Have been viewing many projects of late and realised that those with 'backyard view' from building frontage is an eyesore as time passes Exit barrier is missing...something worrying for security reason. Guards are not strictwith visitors - owners/tenants shld be happy with strict guards Now bottoms my preference list -

A big NO NO
Too expensive for this area. In property, location is a key factor! Very shock to see many china nationals. This is a BIG concern. There's 4 pools, I guessed have to pay more maintenance. The water feature are very noisy. The splashing sound was loud when viewing a unit nearby. I will not consider. -

Condo with great potential
It doesn't really take me long to decide purchasing a unit in this development for these few reasons: - Future MRT under development within 300m distance (5 mins walk). Direct to newton mrt.. 10 mins to botanic garden - Complete facilities (4 pools, tennis court, squash court, bbq pits, gym, sauna, etc..) with resort living environment - Plans on empty sites opposite the condo: based on URA website earmarked for potential educational institution and commercla/residential area. - New condos in the areas are asking for 1100psf and above. - More potential may come with the railway stop operational in mid of next year.. road widening or development plan is a matter of time -

location does matter!
beautiful, resort living ok. no school near by and transportation is really inconvenient unless you own a car. and not enough carpark. too pricy. would rather invest in some other place in a better location.... after all, location is everything when it comes to the property matters. -

Hillington green
We just got a low-floor unit at HG and will be moving in mid June. We find that the facilities are so comprehensive and can imagine our children having a great time playing at the children's pool. With the opposite empty land earmarked for entertainment development (ie. Holland Village), and the short distance to future MRT, it certainly has great potential. Though there are no very nearby good primary schools, but it will be somewhat near to my boy's future primary school in bt batok, so travelling time is saved. interior and exterior all look modern and stylish, for a condo this age. Have to see to believe! -

A great place
I have been staying at HG for 7 months. So far, I have no regrets in buying this home: my spouse and I had been house-hunting in Hillview area for 2 yrs, so we had seen most developments in Hillview area, and we still think HG is the best development here. The furnishings and furnitures are modern, the master bedroom bathroom is hotel-standard (yet practical) and never fail to impress our guests, Kitchen is bright ('cos comes with windows at the sink- so I don't know why there are comments that the kitchen is dark), private lift lobby, all rooms are of good size, no wastage of space. There are also 4 pools and big landscaped area. So my toddler enjoys going for a swim (there are fountains and interesting features at the pool) and going for a walk and he gets to see the koi, and tortises etc. So far, we have not faced with parking problems (as long as you have only one car- as the basement carpark is accessible to residents and 1st car only). More importantly, the future MRT is within 5 minutes walk (near where the Standard Chartered Bank is now), and if you do a check in URA website, the empty land opposite HG is ear-marked for commercial area. So we believe, some shopping area will be up when MRT is ready. As for expat crowd, there are now quite alot of Causasians (more than other nationallities), probably due to the German school and Canadian school at Jln Jurong Kecil. Overall it is a great place to stay. -

Good
I from China, living here for 2 years. I am happy to see more and more of our country people staying here. It is like a gathering for place for us. I hope to see more of our people here so that we can look after and take care one another. -

Solve the carpark issue
Was quite interested in this place as it gives a resort feeling but the price offered was very high. Carpark issue actually the MC can solved, just like our current place: Big units: 2 free carpark lots, subsequent cars have to pay season parking. (have to restrict the number of cars) small units: 1 free carpark lot, 2nd car have to pay season parking. (restrict 2 cars) -
