It's me again. Seems like there's alot running in your mind.

Single SPR or SPR couple can buy 1 or more resale ECs once they MOP (after 5 years) as they are considered semi privatised. Only foreigners are eligible to buy after 10 years (privatised).

Hi Vijay,
Single PR's can purchase EC's after the 5 year MOP. For the 1st property, single PR's pay an additional 5% ABSD. For the 2nd property, PR's pay 25% ABSD. 3rd property onwards is 30% ABSD. So, please plan your finances carefully. Do call me soonest.

Once an EC have reached 5 years, the property status will be as good as private property for Singapore citizens and PRs. As such, it is possible for Singapore PRS to purchase and own multiple resale ECs that has reached its 5 years mark (there is no need to wait for 10 years). Do note that ABSD of 25% for SPR applies for 2nd property while the ABSD rate for 3rd property is 30%. My service for purchase of private property is 100% free. Yes, ECs which are 10 years or older are fully privatised, therefore SPRs can purchase multiple ECs with the relevant ABSD applicable. In fact any ECs that are 5 years or older, SPR can purchase multiple units.

Hi Vijay,

1) You may buy as many EC that had passed their' MOP under an SPR capacity.
2) The only concern is the ABSD that you are subjecting to.
3) ECs that had passed their' MOP (5 yrs from TOP) will no longer be under the HDB jurisdiction. Therefore only foreigner is not allowed to buy them.
4) SPR and SC can buy them under single or under joint capacity just like any private property
