I maybe wrong but isn't it the duty of your salesperson to explain everything to you, prior placing an Option. Your salesperson should be aware of your financial standing and comfort zone prior to representing you fully. However, there are also many cases where buyers hop from salesperson to salesperson, resulting in so-called unprofessional services.

As the law stands, if you can provide evidence to proof that your salesperson did not do you any justice, by all means.
