Did you obtain any housing grants for your resale flats? If you have not, you can still be eligible. If you have taken once, then you will be considered a 2nd timer for your BTO application. Nevertheless, the best way moving forward to know if you are eligible or not will still be to go on an apply the HFE. The results will show what your eligibility is and it is actually free of charge to apply.

It depends on whether you have taken any Grants for your resale flat purchase, and not by the number of times you purchased HDB flats. As for HDB loan, you can take up to a maximum 2 times.

You may wish to try apply for HFE to determine your eligibility for BTO. Let me know should you require further assistance.

Hi Hwee Ling,

1) A person can only apply for a grant for one resale flat only.
2) So although you had bought a resale flat twice and applied for an HDB loan for them. You are still eligible for BTO as a 2nd timer if you have received a grant for one of the resale flats bought.
3) You are definitely not eligible for the concession HDB loan rate of 2.6%, but you could appeal to take an HDB loan at a high-interest rate.
4) I would suggest you apply for the HFE to understand your eligible position.
