Dear All Real Estate Professionals,

I’ve a unit at Orchid Pk L 2, Cosy, well-maintained, 2+1 Bedrooms of 980 sq ft facing reservoir/greenery/fountain. Currently rented out and the lease expires mid Jan 2011. Very suitable for single gentleman/lady. What is the your advice, to sell or lease it out?

Hi Cheng,

Richard and Ken have brought out a very important point in that there will be a fair bit of projects going to TOP in 2012-2013 for your consideration. Unless you are willing to maintain rental prices for your unit to attract tenants, raising the rental amount will likely push tenants to the newer projects. I have first hand experience in this to advise you.

If you feel that your proceeds from sales is good enough, why not cash out on this property and divert the proceeds into another investment?
