Dear Gurus,

I am 25yrs old SC single, 160k cash with ordinary account of 60k, with gross salary of $3700. Will i be able to afford an 2 room private condo @ 700k.

Hi,

May I know if you have any other debt obligations? The figures you quoted are all going to be used for housing? If you have no other debt obligations, based on TDSR requirements, you should be able to qualify for a rough 495K bank loan. Add to that the stamp duties of approx 3% of purchase price, you should be able to purchase a 700K resale condo.
