Does an agent acting acting for a buyer gets 1% or 2% commission of the buying price? There seems to be a discrepency in the answers from various agents.

Morning Jennifer,

Under the current CEA regulation, the commission chargeable is to be negotiated between the client and the agent, where the previous practise fixed the buyer's commission at 1% of purchase price.
