Have heard from friends the agent commission is range from 1-2%, is this true? Any agent care to share what is the Seller / Buyer Commission for HDB?

Afternoon Mrs. Lee,

Market practice for sales is 2% and purchase at 1%.
However, under Fair Trade Act and CEA 2010, commission payable is to be discussed and agreed upon between the prospect and salesperson.

The expected and happy price received by seller is more significant than the commission. You should expect good and responsible agent to service you. It will worth more than the normal commission. www.catherinepang.com Read More

Hi mrs lee,

Yes, they are right. But typically it depends on the service provided. Also exclusivity will have better effect if agents is honest and open to cobroke and also reasonably skilled.

The price can be better fetched...
