As a private property owner, you will be required to wait out for 15 months after the sale of your private property in order to be eligible to purchase a resale HDB (unless you are age 55 or above), coupled with your wife must also fulfill 3 years as a SPR in order for her to be eligible to purchase resale HDB forming a family nucleus with you for the purchase.
