Hello, my current condo tenancy agreements expires on 12/30 2021
On 11/1 i contacted to onwer if we should prepare renew tenancy agreement
and he agreed and informed he will comy by flat on weekends to exchange signature.
2 days leter, I got message from owner informing me that he needs to raise rent.
(which eventually i meesaged him back that I accept rental raise)
Question1 ) Is it allowed owner to inform tenant to raise rent after
tenant shows interst of renewing tenancy agreement?
Also it was lass than 2 month untill current greements expiration date.
Can owner discuss about changes on contruct even it is less than 2 month?
Question 2) it has been 2 weeks passed after I accept the rent fee change,
Owner said he will do deligent and get back to me but he has not been back to me to arrange meeting date.
Is there any rules for owner , how long they can take to prepare new tenacy afreement?
Can they take as much time as possible to prepare the contarct?
I am worried if he would change something again.
I'd appreciate for your advise.
