Dear Agents, I am a foreign citizen condo owner. I plan to rent my condo for short terms like 3-6 months. Do I need to pay 1/2 months rent every time I change the agreement, say after 3 months or so ?

Also I see my previous Agents charging me big fees for any small repairs which I came to kow from other friends staying in SG that it actually doesnt cost much.

Is there any dedicated Agent/Agency available as property manager whom I can trust and be assured to take care rather than coming back with big costs every time? What are the charges for such dedicated agents?

Hi TSS,

You are right that you need to pay 1/2mth rent as commission for every tenancy as there is big advertising fees incurred by the agent.

On the issue of getting high costs on your small repairs, perhaps u can consider to use your friend's contractor whom u place more trust in. Let me know if there is a anything i can be of assistance.

It is a standard half month commission for new term of tenancy.

I have owners in overseas who never regret and lucky to engage me as their property agent who is transparent, dedicated, trustworthy and be assured of taking care of your interest of cost for i have regular contractors contacts.
