Hi,

Am above 35 and legally divorced here.

If I am intending to get a new flat with my partner, can we separately apply HFE as a Single?

When purchasing of flat, will HDB assess both of our HFE applications?

Or is it die die must apply the HFE together in a single application?

Hi, if you are both married , you can only apply for one flat. If you are not planning to get married, you can make two different applications.

HFE application is a result of the family nucleus you are forming to purchase a property. If the plan is to purchase as a single (if you have no intentions to marry with your new partner at least for this purchase), then only your income and eligibility will be assess. Read More

To get a new flat, if you apply as a single, you are eligible to purchase 2-room BTO units. If you add her name in as fiance fiancee, more options open up up till 5-room. So it depends on what type of flat you need.

You can also purchase resale HDB under your own name, no issue, all sizes possible.
