Hi

As you are below 55 years old, you need to wait out 15 months after selling the EC before you are eligible to purchase resale HDB. We can try to find a buyer who is looking to get for investment, to lease back to you after sale completion for the next minimum 15 months.

After selling condo, you can use CPF OA for the purchase, up to valuation limit, so long as the balance lease lasts you until 95 years old.

Dear sir/mdm,

As you are aged below 55 years old, you are only allowed to purchase a resale HDB flat 15 months after you have sold your current EC that has already fulfilled MOP. Thereafter the sale and 15 months later, you will still be able to utilised your CPF OA funds to finance the purchase of the HDB. Hope this helps!

Hi Sir/Mdm,

As long as you are below the age of 55 years old, you will be able to use all the CPF funds in your OA to finance the flat purchase. However, under the current HDB rules and regulations, after selling the EC, you will need to observe a wait out period of 15 months before you are eligible to buy a HDB resale flat.

For my clients who are in the same situation as yourself, I would advise them either to sell and rent back from the buyer or sell and rent during the wait out period.
