i am looking for investment property. Just curious, in your opinion, which location will get the unit rented out in fastest time? and slowest?
Condo 2 bed 2 bath, $3.5k rental, all near mrt (8 min walk)

In terms of rentability, geylang is more central and has shorter commute time to more commercial nodes and CBD, it will relatively be easier to find tenant. However this should not be used as the sole factor for determining the investment suitability, since exit plan is also equally crucial. Are all the condos you have in mind selling at similar price?

Hi,
In good times and bad, the property that is in and around the CBD gets the highest rental and is always easier to rent. So, if you can afford it, you should buy closest to the CBD.

On the other hand, the capital appreciation of properties is also highest in and around the CBD. So, it makes more sense to buy such properties unless your budget is stretched. Than, other criterias come into and needs to be reassessed.
