Hi gd evening to all,
I have some doubts to clear. My beloved husband had recently passed away 6 months back and I am a widow now. We bought a resale 3 room flat and stayed together with our three children. Our house was fully paid using both our cpfs. We used the proximity grant of 20k to aid in purchasing our house. We had stayed there for nearly 3 years. Right now, my husband had passed on and I want to sell off my 3 room resale flat as all our kids's school are nearby my parents house. However, my house have not reached the 5 years mop and i intend to appeal to hdb because I want to be near my parents. I am the sole breadwinner now and need my parents to look after my children every now and then while I'm working. These are the questions based on my scenario explained.
1) Can my appeal be successful? What are the chances to sell off my flat below the 5 years mop?
2) If hdb approves it, will all the sale proceeds goes back to my cpf account?
3) Do i need to pay back the p.grant?
