Hi Guru. I am presently staying together with my parents and I am getting married in Dec this year. I am thinking of buying a resale condo in the market and my parents are willing to sell their HDB flat and stay with me.
My wife-to-be and I have about 200k in our CPF and we intend to use the money obtained from the sale of my parent's HDB flat to form the 5% payment in cash to the seller, when we find the house that we are looking for.
As we are a little cash strap as our money are used for the wedding preparation. Is there anyway we could sell the HDB flat and at the same time, buy a condo?

Hi Sourcer,

I don't see that it's possible to be able to stay into the condo immediately after you hand over the HDB flat if you need the cash proceeds (if any) to pay the 5% downpayment. Your family may need to rent a place to stay until the resale process of buying the condo is completed. In any case, please feel free to contact me at at HP: 9436 1098  for further discussion.
