Hi guru, I'm a SPR and my spouse is a SPC combine household personal income 8k. Currently we own a hdb 5 bdrm flat for 7 years at jurong west. Been renting out two bedrooms for passive income of 1600 monthly over the years.

We would like to seek for advise on how can we possibly to own another immediate passive income properties if we only hv cashflow 50k. Another ques, shd we invest in sg or oversea?

Hi,

Perhaps you like to share how much CPF you have as well so I can make better recommendations. Otherwise with 50K cash as downpayment you may wish to consider Malaysian/Iskandar properties. Thanks and hope to discuss further.

Basically $50k is insufficient for any form of real estate investment locally therefore you will have to look abroad for opportunities. When it comes to overseas properties, we usually see an increased amount of risk involved (as with all real estate purchases, it comes with risk. Only high or low risk, which translate to high or low returns).
