Hi gurus,

I would like to know, if I've striked more than a million dollars toto, and wanting to buy a property (may it be hdb / condo) and rent out, isit possible? How? Can I pay one shot altogether with cash? hdb or condo better to invest for rental?

My situation:
single/31 yrs old/co-own 3 rm hdb flat with folks/self-employed (no stable income).

For your info, I know nothing about properties.

Hi Joe,

If you have the cash on hand now for investment, and your income irregular as mentioned, why not divert your attention to commercial or industrial property instead? There is no holding period for such properties and rental yield is almost as good as residential properties if not better.

I do have a low quantum industrial property for sale in Toh Guan area, perhaps you may like to consider.
