Hi, I a divorcee previously thus own a 4rm HDB flat bcos I have a son. Recently got married and wish to move to a bigger unit such as EM/Jumbo/EA. As my husband had a flat which owners was my parent in law but monthly installment was deduct from my husband cpf. Pls advise is it possible for me to get a bigger resale unit by apply using my name together with my mum under multi-generation?

Morning,

Your husband must have ownership of the unit thus he can use his CPF for the monthly installment of the unit. Being married, to apply for a multi-generation resale unit, you will have to include your husband name into that purchase, which will then cause some issues to surface.
This may include a very big shuffle of the existing ownership of unit.
It would be good to discuss with a prudent salesperson or the HDB officers, to get clearer picture of your situations.
