Good evening Khairul,

I will recommend you to apply for an in principle approval first to gauge how much can you obtain first. If you are able to obtain a 80% loan, you will have to fork out 20% downpayment (5% cash and 15% cpf oa funds (cash if shortfall). Do take note that you will subject to buyer's stamp duty of estimated 3%.

How much finances do you have on hand for this initial cash outlay?

Do bear in mind, you are only eligible to purchase private property as you are still not eligible under single singaporean citizen scheme.

If you need any assistance in your property purchase, feel free to contact me.

Hi Khairul,

It is not easy to answer your question on affordability as you have not included if you have any form of financial commitment to begin with. A discussion with the banker to get your in principle amount for loan done up and also highlight what are the monthly and initial cash outlay required for your purchase.
