Good morning buyer,

you can only register intent to buy/ ink on option to purchase (OTP) on/ after you turn 35 years old if you are thinking of buying under single singapore citizen scheme.

So you can start house hunting probably 1 to 1.5 months ahead of July birthday but I am afraid you cant buy a house yet.

Hi,

1) You may apply for IPA from bank to get an indication on how much assistance you could receive for your purchase.

2) You have to wait till your birthday to apply HLE loan to receive an indication on how much assistance you could receive from HDB for your purchase.

3) You cannot sign an Option-to-Purchase without either (1) or (2), as you need a Letter-Of-Offer or HLE before you can exercise.

4) However, you may make use of the HLE calculator to understand how much you could loan from HDB to understand your financial situation.

5) With (4), you could do your homework on exactly which town meets your expectation, and you can well afford it.
