Asked by
Hi, I am a local, 27 years old and my spouse is a foreigner, not a PR yet. I will like to seek some advice regarding first timer purchase as I am looking at a resale HDB/DBSS/EC so that we can immediately move in, but given the hike in property prices, I will like to know what are my options? Are there any HDB/CPF grants or subsidy available for my situation? As long it is value for money, I prefer good locations with high rental demand or potential locations with upcoming developments at the end of 3 years. Any suggestions or recommendations? Many Thanks

Afternoon Tristen,

You can purchase HDB unit not bigger than 5 room flat under Non-citizen spouse scheme, getting CPF housing grant of $15k, if your income do not exceed $5k. Location aspect, you can look at properties that are situated near MRT and malls.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi Tristen

You are eligible to buy a HDB under Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme if you are a Singaporean and married. You may wish to apply for CPF housing grant of $15K.

I will be able to assist you if you have other queries.

Thanks
