Hi, I am new citizen and my fiancee is holding EP. We are going to ROM and get marriage Cert by end of Oct. My question is are we still eligible for resale HDB (Under Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme) by exercise OTP first and submit Marriage Cert before Application Submission date? Or we need to go HDB to get any prior written approval?

Good afternoon,

For Non-citizen spouse scheme, both of you must be married in order to be eligible for the purchase. Therefore, both of you can start to look for unit around early Oct but only ink the OTP after your ROM date.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi

You will need to be married first before you can buy a resale.

We are serving a client who are in a similar situation. Should you have any further assistance, you may write to gavin.ng@orangetee.com

Good evening buyer,

you will be using non citizen spouse scheme rather than fiance/ fiancee scheme thus you will have to get married first before you can ink on the OTP.

Perhaps we can start house hunting in October and will be able to commit to a purchase by end Oct.

Hear from you soon!
