Hi, I bought a private property but later found out that the seller had built up space that required BCA approval and not yet done (even though she claimed all approval in order when we closed the deal). Now completion date is fast approaching and she's dragging her feet on seeking approval. What can I do about this?

Hi June,

1) This is quite serious and cannot take it easy.
2) Suggest you to approach your lawyer to seek advice on how to seek compensation for the damage incurred if you have to demolish those unauthorized built up and fees for BCA inspection, etc.
