Hi, i would like to seek advise for my current situation i am facing now.
Me and my wife-to-be intent to purchase a resale flat. However currently she has a private property under her name which had just TOP this year.
Is there any other method for us to purchase a HDB resale flat without her having to sell her property. I am also turning 35 in Dec 2017, can single scheme be a viable option or and other viable solutions to this?
Thanks a lot in advance for any advice given.

Morning Chester,

If you are looking at getting resale HDB unit under single scheme, you will have to put off your marriage till after you have completed the purchase of the resale HDB unit. If you are looking at getting the resale HDB unit under public scheme, your partner will need to remove her ownership status on the private property within 6 months from key collection.

Hi,

The most viable scheme seems to be purchasing under your sole name when you turn 35 next year. This will mean you have to put off any ROM until the purchase is completed. Purchasing on your sole name also means you can only use your cpf and loan amount is based on your sole income only.
