Hi, I have a friend from Germany who is interested in buying Condominium in Singapore and I read from Singapore Expat Website regarding the eligibility of the foreigners buying private property in Singapore. The website says the following: Foreigners are not restricted from acquiring: 1) Developments approved as a condominium development under the Planning Act 2) A flat in a building of 6 levels or more including the ground level and any level below the ground level including HUDC Phase I, Phase II flats and privatised HUDC Phase III and IV flats. Does the above means that foreigners can only buy high rise condo in Singapore because of requirement 2. Does requirement 2 only applies to public housing or all flats in general. And where would I be able to find all these information i.e. the above question as well as the definition of high rise/low rise apartment. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks and best regards, Weini
