Hi, I have a fully paid HDB (already over the MOP period), and i would like to purchase a Private Condo. Once we have sign the OTP form etc, can we go and apply for a EC and after EC construction is completed, we will sell off our HDB? Can we do that?

Hi William,

Do you want to purchase a private condo, or an EC?

If you plan to apply for an EC now (since your MOP is over), you are free to do so, and only sell off your HDB within 6 months from the TOP date of the EC.

You may be interested to know that there is an upcoming EC at Punggol Central coming up in end-Sept / Oct, by QIngjian Realty. You can refer to more details on my site www.sgnortheast-newlaunch.com.

If you are interested to buy a private condo now, and then apply for an EC, then, no, you can't do that.
