Hi, I have seen some EC listings that are before their 5 years MOP period, but is stated that they have received permission for sales. I would like to know for these units, will a single SC be able to purchase? Or for any EC approved for sales before MOP would have the same requirement as a new EC, i.e 2 SCs?

Good evening buyer,

Regulations for new EC will be applicable for those ECs that have not MOP but have obtained approval to sell within MOP.

It will be:

1) HDB eligibility scheme
2) Loan: MSR
3) combined income ceiling $14k

Thus I am afraid to inform you that a single SPR is not eligible to purchase yet.

Hi,

There are various reasons that EC are allowed to sell before reaching MOP. These units have to obtain approval from HDB before release onto the market.
If thses
The eligibility requirement for resale EC are:
(1) 1x Singapore Citizen (SC) above 21 years old, or
(2) 2x Permanent Resident (PR)

Of course not forgetting, financial capability under TDSR criteria.
