Hi I moved to Sydney 5 years ago and I bought HDB flat 4 years ago. First two years I rented out as approved whole house and next two years rented out as room rental with one room locked. Few days ago my HDB officer emails me and told I have to stay with tenant. But I working in Sydney, it’s not possible to stay with tenant. But my brother working in Singapore and he like to stay my room but HDB officer still don’t allow that. So I back to whole room rental. Because of MOP fulfilled only two year HDB , don’t allow to sell flat. Due to tight rule, I plan to surrender my Singapore Citizen soon. Please let me know what happen my HDB flat? HDB officer told I have to surrender my HDB flat to HDB with plenty which are 90% of current valuation, 95% of Parched flat. But its really big loss for me. Please let me know what I need to do. I need help.

Currently my flat is full house approved. Can I tell my tenant move out and take back not rental? My sister now study NUS . She like to stay and some I like come and stay. Is it possible.
