Hi, I’m a relatively new agent in one of the big 4 agencies in Singapore. What happen if one wishes to join another agency. What are usually the penalty one has to fulfill.

Any honest and helpful feedback are appreciated cos it isn’t an easy subject to bring up and ask within your own current team. Thank you!

Hey chap,

you check through the documents you signed to see whether is there any penalty for you to bear if you dont fulfill a certain duration in the agency.

Usually if you never pay anything to join an agency, you will need to sign an undertaking letter.

Alternatively just check directly with your admin department either by email or face to face. They should be able to assist you.

Hi,
It depends on whether at your current agency did you sign any contracts or take up any subsidized course which will bind you for a period of time before you can switch.
I have to understand the full scenerio before can advise. Joining another agency is not a problem. You just need to talk to the mentor of the agency you wish to join and he will help to make the arrangement on your transfer.
