Hi,

I would appreciate if I could get your opinion:
I am interested to become a RES. Is this possible before getting the PR?
I don't have previous experience working as a real estate agent, but I've been working for 5 years as a lawyer in Europe and for 2 years as a Human resource manager.

Thank you

Hi Claudia,

Yes it is possible with pr status. Without also can but I understand is tedious because ou need some signifxant deposit with the relevant authorities, you need cea, agencies, mom and ICA clearance plus another necessary Clearance in documentation.

Also, it is not difficult but it is important have have good mentor ship and find outand group cultures and also incentives, commissions structure, overriding structure, progression, company it and branding. Compare carefully and slowly.. Etc etc

It take 3-6months to become a full fledged rookie agent as course is 1-2months, booking exam another 2-4 weeks, exam results another 2-4weeks, getting cea license another 3-6weeks at least.

Hope it helps

Your sincerely

Are you on dependent pass or EP? You should apply for PR as soon as possible. If you need a job to apply for PR personally, it should not be a problem gettig a paralegal position without wasting time sitting for the bar here.

Give me a call and I'll help you explore your options. Real estate is certainly a good industry and where else but Singapore, a tiny island with increasing in flow of talents.
